If we want people to move in versatile ways, alone or together, we need to create an environment that is inviting and challenging. To that end, Athletic Skills Model and consultancy Kragten introduced a concept for the design and layout of public space a few years ago: the Skills Garden®.
A Skills Garden is a custom-designed environment in public space for versatile sport, play and movement, together or alone. A place to meet, for more social cohesion, participation and growth. From colourful artificial turf pitches, hills, equipment, urban parks and courts to natural play areas.
The Skills Garden is designed by the sport and movement experts of the Athletic Skills Model, together with the landscape architects of Kragten. That way we ensure the optimal design for the space.
