Versatile movement really can happen anywhere! Since 2026, ASM and Variopool have also been working together on designing and furnishing swimming facilities in more versatile ways. Suitable for swimming lessons, club use, healthcare and recreational use.
The same space, more impact
The lines on the bottom of a swimming pool have been the same for decades: straight, functional and focused on swimming lengths. The idea that this could be more versatile was the starting point for the conversations between Variopool and ASM. That is why they are joining forces to equip the pool with creative innovations and solutions, making versatile movement in the pool even more possible.
Big impact above and below the water
It is possible to create one integrated design for swimming pools. Think of the line patterns on the (movable) floor, the decks and the walls. And all of this can of course be combined with the positioning of sports equipment above, around and in the pool.
This visual layout of the pool creates new possibilities for games, movement programmes and sport-specific exercises in the water. The coloured areas stimulate coordination, balance, motor development and fitness in an accessible and playful way.
Small steps, big difference!
Besides the integrated design, it is also possible to add versatility to the pool with individual sports and play equipment. Variopool and ASM are working on a special ASM line for swimming pools to make this possible. The first materials from this special pool line are expected in early 2027.
